A wheelchair friendly walkway leads to our front door,
allowing assisted-living and nursing-home groups
to visit with our older cats.

|
The front door leads into a small Entry room
lined with Shaker peg hooks for hanging visitor coats.
The glass door leads into our older-cat area.
|
|
|
To the right of the Entry is our Meeting room
where we hold community workshops and volunteer orientations.
|
|
|
The open floor plan of the Meeting room
allows for a variety of functions --
and the walls present our programs and philosophy.
The rear window (leftmost in the photo)
overlooks the older-cat area.

This is the cat service area,
complete with refrigerator and dishwasher.
The door from the Entry is to the left of the photo --
the cats' "sitting" room is to the right.
The floor is a sea of cats each morning at breakfast.

|
|
And this is the cats' sitting room looking down from the service area.
The cat trees and futon provide more than ample space
for the 12-18 cats we house at a time.
A Laundry area, with washer and dryer,
is behind the far half-wall.
